What do I want to ask at the visit?
Choose what you most want answered and bring those questions along. Keep asking until the answer uses words that make sense.
Is there a standard set of tests?
The September 30, 2026 check found no official GHK-Cu instructions with US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval.
So there was no FDA-reviewed plan for tests before or during use.
Ask the person proposing a test what it would tell them and how the result would change your care. [a]

Can I keep asking during the visit?
In May 2026, a national group representing state medical boards said a patient’s choice from a treatment list is not enough to prescribe.
The person prescribing it still needs to check the patient’s health and needs.
The group also says the visit must let patients ask further questions.
This guidance is advice to state boards; each state’s rules control the care. [b]
